What is Nature Positive?
Actions that measurably improve the state of nature while delivering other benefits to the lives of people and communities.
In 2019, The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, convened by the UN, agreed on 1 over-arching goal for humankind to protect and restore nature to its former glory by 2050.
This noble and practical objective involves valuing nature, preventing its loss, restoring it and engaging with it sustainably. Practical because our lives and economies depend on nature fundamentally.
Success is measured against 3 categories of science based targets: restoring species, ecosystems and natural processes locally, regionally and globally.

Why Likayla?
The name Likayla is inspired by the Irish word for together - “le chéile” - one of the few words I remember from all those years in Gaelic class!
Only together can we create a world better than the one we inherited.
Performing in global sales and marketing across industries and the non-profit sector for + 20 years: purpose is everything. When you have the “why” the “how” follows quite readily.
Critical to achieving that are communications, digital transformation, strategic partnerships and effective knowledge transfer.

The solution: A locally based training and quality assurance brand guides villagers on best-practice in artisanal beekeeping.
